Sijan Dahal is one of the well-known figure in the Nepali theater and film industry. He has assist directed and co-written several films, including Desh khojdai jada, Kabaddi 3, Purano Dunga, Mr. Jhole, and Jaari. In addition to that, he has also written and directed many plays. Among them Maricheko Chuppi, Gaida Times and 12 Durvasha are the ones which are on the top of the list. One of his co-written plays, Aadha Sathya, has also been published.
As one of a founder and current artistic director of Kadam Theater Damak-Jhapa, and trained by Nepal’s famous Mandala Theater, Sijan seems to have a strong footing in the industry.
He is also credited as the executive producer of the movie Mansara, which is being produced under the banner of Kabaddi Films.
Along with his artistic contributions, Sijan is also known to be a campaigner of various social and cultural campaigns. He is a volunteer of Youth for Blood (a group of young people who collect fresh blood), a regular blood donor and a teacher.
